Kyle Sauter
Kyle Sauter is an artist/designer hailing from Burlington, Vermont. Growing up without a TV in rural Vermont, he spent countless hours sketching, drawing, snowboarding and riding bikes. Kyle earned his degree in Graphic Design at the Savannah College of Art and Design, but was drawn back north soon after graduation by the lure of snow, and mountains. Though his body of work is very diverse, many of his designs incorporate hand drawn elements, giving them a grounded, personal touch. In addition to his design work, Kyle enjoys spending time drawing zombies, and screen-printing t-shirts for friends. Kyle was attracted to Glas because of the brand’s wholehearted belief in creativity—the seamless fusion of art, surf, and the experience of being alive. The designs that he has contributed bring an East Coast perspective of art/life and are evolutions of sketches and imagery initially conceived while outdoors—jotted down in a notebook during a bike ride or while sitting by the water. |
